Softball socks are usually made of cotton, spandex, acrylic and wool. Your choice would, of course, depend on which material you're comfortable with. Acrylic is the most popular selection because it is comfortable, durable and absorbent. It also dries quickly. The next best thing would probably be wool because it is also as absorbent and comfortable as acrylic. The best thing about wool is that it doesn't deform all to easily so it lasts longer.

As earlier mentioned, softball socks can be made of three types of breathable material. Cotton socks are typically made of around 30% nylon and 70% cotton. They are lightweight and highly absorbent to ensure optimum comfort. These socks come in both women's and men's sizes.
