Socks That Rock
The new crop ranges from fun and funky to downright sexy. Hiding them under jeans or too-long skirts would be a crime. These socks rock, and were created to show off short, flirty skirts and long, well-toned legs. They come in fashion forward solids, delicious semi-sheers, and even fishnets. Many take their cue from the exuberant styles of the 1960s and '70s, flaunting sassy polka dots or stripes in color combinations like aqua and chartreuse or shocking pink and daffodil yellow. Some even riff boyish pinstripe and argyle patterns. The newest twist is sparkly, eye-catching embellishments such as sequins or metallic threads.
